As with much of this blog/vlog, the following digital essay explores the intergenerational effects of my grandmother Alice's relationship with her first husband, Jennings.
During my search for Alice, it became obvious that movement (in various forms: physical, emotional, geographical...) has played a significant role in the lives of the women in our family.

This is a lovely, perfectly timed digital essay. I am impressed with the forward movement your craft has made alongside a life obviously so busy with all that comes with a perpetually new address. Jennifer, this is a stunningly poetic concept, and so full of that tenderness that is often difficult to relate.
